Having walked through the end of life process with a number of close family members and friends, I experienced both the profound meaning available in the process, as well as the shock and fear that also play a part.  Through these experiences, I felt a calling to assist people through this process.  Inspired by the teachings of Ram Dass, Steven Levine, Tara Brach, Frank Ostaseki , Roshi Joan Halifax and others, I sought out a deeper understanding of the dying process, and was led to the field of End of Life Doulas.  

I'm a trained Doula through the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA,) earned proficiency from the End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and a certified End of Life Specialist through Teaching Transitions. I volunteer with Torrance Memorial Hospice and The Caring House in Torrance.  I have also assisted families through the MAID process. 

In addition, I teach yoga for "Old Guys" through www.tribaleldersyoga.com I'm based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, but am also available for phone or video discussions.
